On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Olympic-format ski mountaineering relay race took place at the SKI Bílá resort in the Beskydy Mountains, attracting top-level athletes as well as a large number of spectators. LANEX and its brand TENDON were proud partners of the event, contributing to its safe and smooth execution.
We supplied TENDON static ropes, which were used not only for course delimitation but also as safety ropes during the steep “boot-pack” uphill section. This technically demanding part of the course was one of the key moments of the race, combining the athletes’ physical performance with a strong emphasis on maximum safety.
The weather conditions were favorable – although snow coverage was rather limited in places, ideal temperatures, conditions and a great atmosphere created a perfect setting for a dynamic and spectator-friendly race. The event once again confirmed that ski mountaineering has a strong position and an active community in the Beskydy Mountains.
The race also gained media attention, with its atmosphere and sporting quality captured in a Czech Television (ČT sport) report, helping to introduce ski mountaineering to a broader audience and showcasing the attractiveness of this competition format.
Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the organizers from BESKI z.s., the athletes and the fans for a professionally prepared event and great energy throughout the day. We are proud to have been part of it and to have contributed to the safe running of the race – and we are already looking forward to the next edition.
